crazytony
Hi guys, My powersupply gave up the ghost while the system was running and I've replaced it. I have one disk (disk7) which has a redball. SMART shows no errors with the drive and I did a reiserfsck on the disk which also said the disk is ok. No errors in the syslog after replacing the failed drive. Will the new config trick work for me (eg in the web console click new config then reassign drives)? Running 5b12. syslog.txt Link to comment
crazytony
Decided to go with it. Created a new config and reassigned all the drives. Holding my breath as I pushed the start button it came online and started the parity check. Will let you know how it turns out in a couple of hours. Link to comment
crazytony
It did a parity sync not a parity check. Drat. I did a lot of spotchecks on the files and they appear to be ok. So we probably need a better 'Trust my Array' procedure for Unraid 5. Link to comment
