October 5, 20232 yr I've containers running that connect to a databases they share. Some hosted externally, some in a container on the unraid instance and some on another device in the network. I needed to update the the ip address of the db host for a decent amount of containers manually, they all share the same db just different schemas or users. This was a manual task for each container. It would be nice if we could create a variable/secret list (like used in many ci / pipeline tools) and in the container template select the variables we want to use as env var for the container. I'd only have to update 1 var instead of the many. Even better would be integration with key value store but I guess that takes a bit more work to implement.
