November 26, 20232 yr Hi my internet went down and i tried to watch plex on my local network but was unable to. i was told that i should be able to do this and my setup was wrong, unraid on local network in house, so is this correct and if so any help on what is wrong ? November 26, 20232 yr Doubt this is unraid related.. 1. do you connect via ip on your plex client to plex server? 2. Have you configured hairpin NAT on your router(needed if you do not connect via ip)
November 26, 20232 yr Community Expert Plex relies on Internet connectivity for a number of things - authentication and how clients address/connect to your server are two that are first apparent.
