Hard drive not recognized

I decided to give a try to Unraid as I have a bunch of HDD's and some old Xeon processor in Cooler Master 690 II Advanced case.

I have obtained LSI SAS 9300-16i, ICY DOCK 6 Bay 2.5” SATA HDD/SSD hot-swap cage enclosure for 5.25” bay and Silverstone FS305-12G three 5.25" to Five 3.5" hot-swap SATA/SAS hard drive cage.

I have tested all parts and everything is working fine except the one HDD which for some reason is not working in Silverstone drive cage.

That HDD is Seagate 4Tb shucked from external enclosure. HDD is working fine while in enclosure and while connected directly to the motherboard SATA adapter. When I insert drive into Silverstone drive cage it is not recognized by LSI 9300. I tried HDD in drive cage with and without 3.3V pin mod with the same results. Silverstone drive cage shows solid blue LED light when drive is inserted like any other HDD.

All other drives I have work in the same drive cage bay so that probably excludes drive cage or cabling issues.

LSI 9300-16i is flashed with 16.00.12.00 firmware in IT mode and again it recognizes different HDD in the same Silverstone drive cage bay.

Is it possible that HDD is not supported or compatible with LSI 9300 because I can't think of anything else?

I also read something about HDD's having non-standard block size and not being recognized by controller. I was under impression that it applies only to enterprise SAS drives but I might be wrong.

Any help and advice will be greatly appreciated.
