Memory Posted May 22 Share Posted May 22 (edited) My motherboard only has 1 USB controller and I don't have any free PCI slots, but I need more usb ports for my Windows VM. I bought a powered usb hub (Here) and plugged it into one of the USB ports on my mobo and then passed that usb port into my windows VM using the USB Manager Hotplug plugin. However it seems to behave inconsistently where certain ports on the hub periodically vanish or disable themselves and stop working. Is this just something that doesn't really work well or am I doing something wrong? Thanks, any help is appreciated. Edited May 22 by Memory Quote Link to comment
