Help with Unraid Notification Settings (discord)

Featured Replies

Recently I had my first drive failure and I wanted to setup some notifications for alerts.

I need some help with the Notification Settings for Discord.
I am on version 6.12.4

Issue Discord tag id - I can't get it to work
I have tried the Unraid steps

"In Discord, right-click the '#unraid-notifications' channel and choose Notification Settings -> Only @mentions. Then to receive an @mention on 'alert' priority notifications only, provide your personal Discord ID (it is a series of numbers, not letters). To find your ID, in Discord type \@yourusername. To disable this feature, specify 'none'.".

I manage to get a code which is looking something like this one: <@4324234234422>
Also, let's say my username in discord is looking something like this one: username#1234

I attempted the following in the Discord tag ID field:

  •  4324234234422
  • <@4324234234422>
  • @4324234234422
  • 1234
  • #1234

but none of these worked. I was expecting to tag me on the message.

I have the answer to my question. When clicking the button "Test", Unraid doesn't use the Discord tag id, but when there is an actual notification, then it works as expected and tags the person.

Not sure if it's possible to tag multiple users, maybe with comma separated user ids but I haven't test it.

The user id format which works is the one Unraid specifies, "4324234234422" (only the numbers)
