Installing joe editor

Hi:

Anyone here has installed the joe editor? Looking for a recipe or so like. I would like to avoid, if possible, nano, mcedit and vi.

    I don't know if you ever got this figured out, but just in case you didn't. I used un-get to install Joe. You have to install un-get from the 'Install Plugin' tab on the plugins page with it's URL.
