anybody tried running unraid in vmware?

 

asking because im currently running a mce pc with a ftp server.

if i could run unraid virtually, i could run enything u want on the windows side and use unraid for storage.

 

since vmware doesnt support usb boot, i think im screwed.

got it booted (asking for user: root), but since it cant find sda1, it cant get the network loaded.

maybe if there was a cd version of unraid, it could prolly work.

 

anyone else tried this?
