SMB shared issue

Featured Replies

My machine win 11 is having issue to transfer big files to my local unraid. (1gb NIC) , and it was working flawlessly before.

I could see the shared folder under network.

I can transfer like 20 MB file without issue.

But when transfering 500MB files, the speed will just slow down like he$$

I then discovered that I had to enable Netbios to true ( which i read is using smb1) in settings.

Then only the transfer files are working as normal, reaching 110MB/s (1gb speed)

So why is my transferring to unraid suddenly need to use smb1.

WIndows is using latest update etc.

Can see that smb2 is enabled in windows 11 as well from powershell, and i didnt install smb1
