November 8, 20241 yr Hello friends, Has anyone managed to install matrix-docker-ansible-deploy as a docker container on Unraid? It looks like a very easy All-In-One installation method, and since I'm not too proficient in these kinds of things, such an automated install process will be very comfortable for me. Hope someone can shed some light as to how I can install this, even though it's not available in Unraid's docker community apps store.
February 25, 20251 yr Did you ever figure this out? I run Ansible Matrix in a VM but wanted to migrate to Unraid itself. But am still pretty green in Unraid and didn't know the consequences ha.

March 6, 20251 yr I am probably just going to install regular dockers in unraid for it and try and migrate my data. Not quite sure how to do it via ansible. But will report back either way.
March 9, 20251 yr Just wanted to update a little tidbit that I should have paid more attention to when I started this journey ha. As far as my understanding it would be impossible to do ansible matrix in unraid being it relies on linux supporting systemd for the starting and stopping of the services which unraid doesn't use and highly recommends against installing. So sounds like that route is not possible. So I am gonna goof with the containers and try and install it that way and see if I can restore my data to it. I definitely don't want to lose my data if I can help it ha.
