March 26, 201214 yr Hey guys, I just recognized that putting things in /mnt/diskX is poor form and shouldn't be done unless there's a good reason. Perhaps 1TB data is in /mnt/diskX instead of /mnt/user because it wasn't adding to /mnt/user without the "Min Space" configured. If I set the "min space" this wouldn't have been required. Could I just go into /mnt/diskX and "cp -ruvpn" the items over to /mnt/user? All files currently on my unraid server should be part of /mnt/user.
March 31, 201214 yr Author If you've got unraid. Script is installed @ http://tower:8080/dupe_files Also see: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=2459

March 31, 201214 yr /mnt/user is simply a consolidated view of what you have in the top level directories on /mnt/disk1,2,3,etc. What you see are not duplicates, but simply the consolidated view. That is why copying fails... /mnt/user is "virtual" not physical. /mnt/disk1,2,3,4.... are physical and where the files actually reside.
