December 19, 20241 yr Hi, Several months ago, I attempted to change a few things about Plex, and in the process, fouled the whole thing up. It's been awhile, but I believe I was working on creating separate directories for lossless and lossy content. In that process, plex locked up, then my docker image corrupted, and unraid crashed. Rebooted, replaced the docker image, and attempted to get plex back and triggered the same behavior. Gave up, set up Jellyfin, and things were good enough to get by. Today, I'm trying to clean up the carnage, and have a binhex-plex appdata directory that refuses to delete. I have been able to delete every other docker's appdata directory but this one refuses to delete, reporting that the file system is read-only. After attempting to delete this, and getting a litany of read-only errors, my cache pool goes read-only briefly. I'm using "rm -rf" and "sudo rm -rf" from command line for reference. Any idea what the heck I've fouled up, here? Logs attached. Thanks in advance for any help. bender-diagnostics-20241218-1714.zip
December 22, 20241 yr Author Should anyone have a similar problem, the fix was so simple, I'm annoyed. * disconnect cache drive(s) * restart Unraid * start array, accept any warnings about missing disks * clear out /mnt/user/appdata * stop array * power down, then reinstall cache drives * restart, find cache drives in unassigned devices. Format, mount, add to cache pool. * Rebuild dockers Done. Zombie directories gone.
