April 14, 201214 yr I recently tried to install a script to enable time machine on my unRAID server, but I was given the following error when the script tried to download some of the necessary packages form the internet. Resolving blueskyhorizon.com... failed: Name or service not known. wget: unable to resolve host address `blueskyhorizon.com' Failed to download libssp-1lk.tgz ABORTING <N http://www.blueskyhorizon.com/unraid/libssp-llk.tgz Rather than cluttering the other thread with my server configuration problems, I thought I'd ask my questions here. I've used unMenu to download packages before, so I'm not sure why this didn't work. It was mentioned in the other thread that my server may not have DNS lookup capability. How do I configure that?
April 14, 201214 yr If you were to click on the link you posted you would discover it does not exist. Sorry. Can't do anything on your unRAID server to resolve that.
April 14, 201214 yr Author That's odd. I know several other people have used the same script, and I can browse to the director where the file is located. Here's another example, if I type the following command, I get a similar error message where my unRAID server can't resolve the address. wget -N http://blueskyhorizon.com/unraid/tmupgrade.sh

Typically, most people can simply put their router's IP address for both the gateway and the DNS server. Some will need to explicitly put the DNS server as their router will be too brain-damaged to pass it onward to the actual DNS server.
April 15, 201214 yr Author Well, I was in the process of typing out a long reply that said all of my settings looked OK, and I thought I'd give it another try. This time it seems to be working fine. I guess my router was having a bad day As always, I appreciate the help! Sorry it was a false alarm.
