February 10, 20251 yr Is there a guide as to the best method to replace my onboard NIC with a PCI nic? My onboard NIC is a 1GBPS and I am upgrading to a 25 Gbps... I have read in the form some people having issues etc.. What I gather is that the best practice/method is to: 1. install new NIC 2. Boot UNRAID 3. Got into network and assign new NIC (2.5 GBPS) to ETH0 4. Reboot 5. New Nic should be operational Is there anything missing? Thanks in advance...
