October 20, 2025Oct 20 Hello folks. Still very new to unraid and such. I am trying to install a Win11 VM using Unraid 6.9.2 but I'm getting an error that my machine doesn't meet the minimum hardware requirements. The kicker is I recently installed Unraid 7 and was able to install the VM with no issues. Unfortunately I was getting some kind of stability issue where my machine would shut itself off by morning. I think it was related to ipvlan vs macvplan but with my limited skills I just decided to revert back to 6.9.2 since it's stable but now I can't seem to install Win11 VM. Can anyone suggest a workaround?
October 21, 2025Oct 21 Can I suggest you try ChatGPT as I had a similar issue and it helped me sort out the correct files for using TPM so I could install Windows 11 fine?
