Why I built it

There are so many dashboards out there, but none of them was truly modular. You couldn't really bring your own plugins, and most "widgets" were just links. So I built SelfDashboard: every widget is a plugin with its own server backend. It shows live data and can actually control your services.

What's in 2.2.0

• Install and update plugins from the store or as a ZIP, with no image rebuild

• Open plugin format, so you can write your own (docs/PLUGIN_DEV.md)

• Multiple dashboards, 6 themes, drag & drop, responsive on phone, tablet and desktop

• Login, TOTP 2FA, multi-user with per-user plugin permissions

• Kiosk mode for wall tablets, plus an Android app

• Everything configured in the UI, no YAML

Install on Unraid

Apps → search "SelfDashboard" → Install. Map /app/data and /app/plugins/custom, and set a fixed SELFDASHBOARD_SECRET_KEY. Never change that key afterwards.

Already running it? Switch to the new image

Change the repository in your container template to:

ghcr.io/s3lfcod3r/selfdashboard:latest

Your /app/data and plugins stay as they are.
