June 2Jun 2 I recently uphraded a dev unraid server from 6.12 branch to 7.3.0, and then upgraded a VM with Ubuntu 20.04.4 to Ubuntu 22.04.4. Now I can't start the vm if I have Shares provided to the VM. I had this happen once before and then it was enough to update the netplan in the VM to define the correct ethernet interface. This no longer seems to work. The ethernet IF is defined as virtio-net and I have tried using e1000 and refreshing the mac address. This does not work. Once I remove the Shares defined I get ethernet access again in the VM. The vDisk uses VirtIO. I've tried adding just one Share using either 9P or Virtiofs but as soon as I do that the VM doesn't start with error "Start PXE ofver IPv4". Changing the ethernet IF to E1000 and back to virtio-net works. What could be the issue here?
