Hello all. I've wanted this kind of thing for many years, but never felt like I could understand it. This stuff is really difficult for me. When it does work, it feels so awesome though and I finally got my NAS and some docker containers up and running. It felt really nice to get that going. I don't have the money for hard drives right now so I don't even have an array, just pools. See specs below for more info on why. Immich has been the hardest thing to figure out and most annoying to keep going, but it's so nice when it works. I got all my pics from my phone uploaded to the NAS finally. Just excited and wanted to tell the unraid community on my unraid journey. This was definitely the right OS to get for me.

Specs: Old hardware lying around I found

Case: Phantom case from around 2015, side and front panels are gone so it's an open air case at this point

Mobo: Asrock Z77 Extreme4

CPU: Intel i5-3570

Cooler: Notcua NH-D14 - I took the fans out since it runs really cool. Even maxing the cores did not heat up the huge heatsink so I took fans out to save power

PSU: Corsair 1200W AXI - acronyms not sure on but it's a beefy one.

x2 256GB SSD - used for my appdata and second is for cache system. They are pretty old, around 10 years old.

x1 1TB HDD - used for storage of pics

x1 8TB HDD - used for some tv shows I have
