There are a number of non self-hosted grow journal apps out there but I have no faith in them not doing evil corporate overload things with my data. I did come across one self-hosted option (Isley) but a few issues kept me from continuing to use it. The journal entries and the photos lived in separate places, so following a grow and seeing how it actually looked day by day was tedious. Getting from a strain to a plant to start a grow was confusing. And the public strain database it used was missing a lot of very popular strains. There were also a number of features I wished it had that were missing. So I built on it, and the result is BudMinder: a self-hosted grow journal for home growers. Your data stays on your server: no cloud accounts, no corporate tracking, and no treating your data as a commodity to be sold. Some of BudMinder's featuresPlant Page: is the heart of BudMinder: each day's notes, measurements (pH, EC, water, feed) and photos together on one timeline, so you can see how the plant looked next to what you did. Growth stages, days in each stage and an expected harvest window are tracked for you.Today page: what needs attention (watering, feeding, old seeds), every tent or space at a glance with its live readings, and one-tap Water / Feed / Log.Sensors page: see live temperature, humidity, VPD and CO2 from AC Infinity, Ecowitt or Home Assistant, with charts to track those readings over time.Strains and Seed Vault: look a strain up from public databases and import its details (lineage, THC/CBD ranges, effects, flavors, terpenes) in one click, keep seed counts and seed age, and a wanted list. Also, there are smoke reports to rate and remember each harvest. BudMinder works well on the phone, and it's easy to back up with one-click backups (including photos) that you can download and restore in Settings.I have quite a few features I am planning on adding and if you have anything you would like to see in the program let me know.BudMinder is open source (MIT).Questions, problems and ideas are welcome here; I'll answer in this thread. Bug reports can also go to GitHub Issues.InstallationUntil BudMinder is available in Community Applications you can install by:1. On the Unraid Docker tab, click Add Container.2. Set Name to budminder, Repository to ghcr.io/sirbusta/budminder:latest, and Network Type to Bridge.3. Click Add another Path, Port, Variable, Label or Device three times and add:- a Port named WebUI: container port 8080, host port any free port, for example 8091- a Path named Data: container path /app/data, host path /mnt/user/appdata/budminder/data- a Path named Uploads: container path /app/uploads, host path /mnt/user/appdata/budminder/uploads4. Switch to Advanced View (top right) and set WebUI to http://[IP]:[PORT:8080]/. That adds a WebUI item to the container’s menu on the Docker tab.5. Click Apply. Open BudMinder from the container’s WebUI menu item, or at http://<your server>:8091, and create your account. Edited 7 hours ago7 hr by SirBusta
