July 20, 200817 yr Hey all, I posted the other day with issues of a P5E-VM DO upgrades and network dropouts. I upgraded from 4.3b6 this morning and did reiserfsck on all my drives and they all check fine. I have pretty much replaced all of my netwrok stuff in the last two weeks trying to solve this issues. I just did an Ifconfig here and this is what I got. root@Tower:~# ifconfig eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:1E:8C:0E:2F:13 inet addr:192.168.80.251 Bcast:192.168.80.255 Mask:255.255.255.0 UP BROADCAST NOTRAILERS RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:6173929 errors:460 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:236 TX packets:7845436 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 RX bytes:1169666813 (1.0 GiB) TX bytes:2348034724 (2.1 GiB) Memory:fea40000-fea60000 lo Link encap:Local Loopback inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0 UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1 RX packets:8 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:8 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:0 RX bytes:560 (560.0 b) TX bytes:560 (560.0 b) root@Tower:~# root@Tower:~# ethtool -i eth0 driver: e1000e version: 0.2.0 firmware-version: 1.3-0 bus-info: 0000:00:19.0 root@Tower:~# rgds, Dave
