msobon
Hi Guys, Is there a command that can be run to reset the array config, I've had a little mishap where after reboot one of the existing disks is no longer in the array and when I try to add it it wants me to wipe it so i need to rebuild parity. The GUI is not reseting the array config. Any help would be nice. Quote Link to comment
Joe L.
Hi Guys, Is there a command that can be run to reset the array config, I've had a little mishap where after reboot one of the existing disks is no longer in the array and when I try to add it it wants me to wipe it so i need to rebuild parity. The GUI is not reseting the array config. Any help would be nice. Log in via telnet or on the system console. Then type: initconfig respond to its prompt with Yes (capital "Y" and lower case "es") Then refresh the web-management screen. It should show all the disks as BLUE indicators. as you said, it will need to perform a new parity calculation as the existing one is immediately invalidated when you set a new disk configuration.
