Simple Features System Stats Transmit stops reporting

Featured Replies

I am running 5.0-rc12a on ESXi 5.1 with a vSwitch shared with a Ubuntu VM. I have Simple Features installed, latest version.

I was debugging an issue where I would get momentary pauses in watching a movie off the unraid server while writing a bunch of large files to it (ISOs). So I pulled up the Stats page in Simple Features and clicked on System Stats.

For about 5 mins the Network quadrant reported both reads and writes but then only reads were reported although ESXI shows that the writing is uninterrupted. Resetting the stats via the reset button or closing the active window and opening a new browser window does not fix the issue.

Anyone had this issue before in this type of config? I know I can use ESXI to watch the network load but I liked the build in stats display.

I found my issue with pauses; every time the current file being written needs to be closed off on the disk unraid will stop sending data on the network; I think the OS gets consumed with the file closure. I'll have to keep troubleshooting that; I don't get it on my other unraid box running 4.7.

And now Transmit has stopped reporting, although ESXi is reporting no change in network usage.
