OK! I had two 500Gb drive and a 250Gb drive. The 250 was basically empty.. I stopped the array powered down swapped the new 500 for the 250 so now three 500 Gb drives. Booted Unraid it found the drive and the start button is greyed out as well as the restore command buttons. The Server main page shows red light - Stopped - Upgrading drive.

 

Is this the norm, I swapped the drives at 4:30Pm today and it is now 8:30PM so four hours later. Any ideas..

OopS - DumbA#$$ I did not see the checkbox under the start and restore commands.. click the check-box hit start, it is now setting up the drive..
