Flash GUID

Featured Replies

Hey all,

I want to buy my software and I purchased a second flash today so I could buy the two at once. Can you get the GUID of the flash in windows anywhere. I found some numbers in Device Manager, but not sure if those are correct.

I have the guid from the flash in the unraid server - no problem. Barring the above can I stick the second flash in the server as an empty device and get the second guid that way.. What is the easiest.

Regards,

I looked around in windows and could never find it either.  You should have no problem just booting off the second USB stick into your unraid box and getting it from there.  It won't just start formatting all the disks.  But you could unplug the drives if that makes you more comfortable.
