[SOLVED] Machine name change

Featured Replies

When I reboot my server it will start back up with Tower login: although I have changed the name to NAS. Sometimes I will reboot and it will boot up as NAS, other times I will go back into Identification and although it says NAS already, I will erase, retype it and apply. I have uploaded the diagnostic .zip created by the server.

I am starting two additional topics, one pertaining to the ethernet bonding, sometimes only one registers sometimes both. I am solving this problem currently by rebooting the server again. The second is about slow transfer speeds to the server. I mention these in case they could be related.

Thank you.

It seems that since I have reformatted my boot device to have the minimum 512MB space the machine when it reboots retains the name assigned NAS and does not revert back to Tower. I am going to log this one as solved.
