I'm coming here to get some help building a virtualized gaming desktop.

Could you help me about compatibility hardware ?

 

First, here are my current build that I will receive in 2 or 3 days:

- CPU : i7 5930K

- MB : Asus X99-Deluxe

- RAM : DDR4 Kingston HyperX Savage 16Go (4x 4Go) 2400MHz DDR4 CL12 DIMM Kit

- GPU : Will be a 980Ti (Asus Gaming or Palit)

- OS : Windows 10 Pro OEM

 

Right now I still have to buy these GPU and the Storage Device.

I am waiting for Pascal, so I am going to buy first the 3rd passthrou gpu

 

Which one can be compatible with my setup ?

 

Did I missed something ?

 

- Could you confirm me that 980Ti + 970 will work ?

- Also for the 3rd GPU if it has no impact about gaming, maybe something less than 100E can be found ?

- Which storage is better to set unRAID Server, possible for a M.2 SSD ?
