I have seen a few people post about this issue, never to a resolution.

 

I think I have isolated what is causing it, yet am uncertain how to resolve the issue.

 

From my experience, the stale nfs happens when unraid balances the data across the shares. When the mover kicks in and moves data from disk to disk is when the events change. The hosts that have mounted the unraid nfs share point see this behavior and this triggers the stale state.

 

I may not be right in this, but this appears to be the triggered event which causes the issues to happen.
