btrfs errors

hello all, i've been having some isssues with some btrfs csum errors popping up and i'm trying to find out where the issue is. few previous posts recommend rebuilding the docker image, which worked for me before, but more recently after recreating my docker.img from scratch, the errors are becoming more frequent so i think it's possibly the image itself is not the issue (at least this time around).

i'm currently running a btrfs scrub and it seems the errors are from my plex library metadata if i'm reading this correctly. it seems these errors are not correctable. could i just delete these folders/files?

Those warnings are for your cache pool, not the Docker (or possibly libvirt) images.

are you sure? i mean the warnings when i try to scrub show the paths of the actual files/folders with the checksum errors.. in the past i've have similar csum errors where mover wouldn't move particular downloads, and i would just delete it and redownload and it would move just fine, so i'm thinking if i delete these, and have plex rescrape, it would get rid of the corrupt files.

Appdata lives on your cache volume, not in the Docker image. The important part is the /dev/sdj1.

yes, my cache drive is sdj1, which is where these files that i believe to be corrupt are also

in any case, i went ahead and deleted those files. btrfs scrub came in clean.

 

i'll monitor my log to see if they still show up

so far so good, but it's only been a couple of days. will give it a few more before marking this solved.
