November 23, 20169 yr Due to a few issues with my unRAID box, (the PSU flamed out toasting most of the guts), I have to announce that I've revived one of my first unRAID boxes, upgraded it a little, and it is now my main box again. So, the general layout is: Lian-Li PC-Q25A, Asus H87I-Plus (this little board has been in constant use for close to 4 years in various machines around the house, started out in the unRAID box in late 2012), Pentium G3430, 16GB DDR3L-1600 (this is new to the machine), Superflower 350W 80+Gold PSU (tight squeeze, also new to the machine to replace a loudly buzzing 300W Ablecom PSU), 480GB Corsair Neutron XT, 2x8TB WD EZZX, 2x5TB WD EFRX, 1x 8TB Sagate NAS (parity) - all transferred from the newer box. Thankfully I had no data loss, and all the drives seem fine. I do have a Xeon E3-1275v3 which I will probably swap in to upgrade the slightly struggling G3430 - it's fine for running unRAID and the Dockers, but isn't so happy running my Windows 10 VM as well.
