I tried using the package upgrade to go from v5.0.5 to the newest version. Upon rebooting the server, I got the syslinux missing error.  So I copied the syslinux folder from a new download of unRAID and copied it to the flash drive.  Then I ran the make_bootable on my PC. 

 

Upon plugging in the flash drive and booting the server, it boots, but never connects to the network.

 

It hangs for a long time at eth0: waiting for carrier

 

After about 30 seconds, I get the Tower Login:

 

How do I get it connected to the network again?

    Apparently v6 doesn't like one of the NICs on my motherboard.  The other NIC works just fine.  I guess there was a change between v5.0.5 and v6 that makes it incompatible with the NIC i've been using since I set up the server.
