March 6, 20179 yr I downloaded Unraid 6.3.2, FAT formatted a USB stick and named it UNRAID, copied the extracted files and executed the make bootable bat as administrator. My computer (E5-2670 64GB RAM 6HDD 2SSD) BIOS is set to boot from USB and it does infact load UNRAID and pull an IP and the webUI is accessible via web browser. I can even setup a share. When I try to copy a file over the network to that share (or any share), or from an unassigned mounted HDD to any share, TOWER slows to a crawl, the UI is unresponsive or unreachable, and top shows 100% cpu across all cores. I get the same experience after many retrys with different downloads and sticks, and 6.3.1 as well. Syslog won't be useful since it is post reboot. syslog.txt unRAID-6.3.2.txt disk.cfg After searching google for this problem I found an alarming amount of other people complaining of unresponsiveness, and an equally alarming lack of solutions. The software itself provides no feedback to advise the user that there is a problem at all or what to do about it. SAD. Edited March 7, 20179 yr by morganross
