I'm using beta9 and upgraded a 40gb drive to a 200 gb drive.  This was the first time I've done this with data still on the drive so I was a little apprehensive.  Everything worked as advertised.  I took the old drive out add the new and rebooted the server, clicked start and the drive was rebuilt in about 2 1/2 hours.  At the same time I was still able to access the other drives and steamed a movie to my tv without any hiccups.
