I'm not doing something right.

Following the info on google code i downloaded the zip to my windows xp pc.  unzipped using winrar and got unmenu_install out.  Using hyper terminal connected to my server login and did the mkdir /boot/unmenu that seemed to work..  so i went to my network and found the flash drive share and went to copy the file over that way but i dont see the /boot/unmenu.  So i created the unmenu directory copied the file in.

Went back to my hyper Terminal to run the unmenu_install -i -d /boot/unmenu command and get, -bash: unmenu_install: command not found

So what am i doing wrong?

running Pro version: 4.5.3

From your file explorer, the flash drive is shared as "\\tower\flash"  therefore, in windows--file-explorer the unmenu directory you created would be "\\tower\flash\unmenu"    (The flash drive is mounted at "/boot"  and /boot is shared on the lan as \\tower\flash )

If you put the unmenu_install file in the \\tower\flash\unmenu folder, it will be visible when you log in via telnet if you are in the correct directory.  When you log in you are in the /root directory.  (The root user's home directory)

After you log in, you'll need to change directory to /boot/unmenu first by typing

cd /boot/unmenu

to see the unmenu_install program.

You'll know you are in the correct folder when you type

ls -l

and see it.

In file-explorer you'll need to enable the display of hidden and system files, otherwise the files on the flash drive will not be visible in file-explorer.
