August 3, 20178 yr So, been running unraid for quite some time. Server would not unmount disks to stop array so hard powered down. Went to power on and getting boot error. "reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media " well I pulled the usb out loaded it in my laptop and all files are still there. I know its not a bios problem went through that. Any ideas? can i take the files off the usb and copy them to a new USB stick?
August 3, 20178 yr You can prepare a new USB stick and then copy the config folder from the old stick to the new stick. Odd it would not boot from the USB. You might try running a chkdsk on it from a Windows workstation.
