Hi all! 

 

I just got one of those HGST He12 drives to replace my parity drive and even though I don't need to clear it, I thought I'd do a one-cycle preclear first.  It says it's been reading about 250 MB/sec, but it's only 46% through the Pre-Read phase after 63 hours.  At 250 MB/sec it should be able to read it in about 14 hours, no?  At this rate I'd have to wait three weeks or so to start the parity build.  Is this right?
