To get this deal:

  1. Click http://dealnews.com/lw/artclick.html?2,370306,1151126 to begin at $399

  2. select "4GB Memory (4x1GB), 1333MHz (+$79)"

  3. in cart, apply coupon code "W51FFWZ6C1F14G" to knock it to $378

This machine has only four internal 3.5" disk bays, but also has two 5.25" bays.  I talked directly with Dell tech support who confirmed that there are SIX sata connectors on the motherboard, so you could easily set this up as a six disk unRaid server if you install additional hard drives in the 5.25" bays with adapters.

Seems very cheap for a complete 6-bay BYOD system, and I think the xeon it uses is very similar to a core i5 processor in most respects - very powerful if you have plans for more than just basic unRaid functionality.  And it's probably a cheaper way to get IPMI than the low-speed, low-power Supermicro atom board.

Edit: Though this has IPMI capabilities, it doesn't appear that this offers the KVM over ethernet capabilities the Supermicro atom board does.  Which is unfortunate.

I did a quick search of the forum but couldn't find anyone using a T110 for unraid.  Any indications of whether it would be suitable?
