January 13, 20188 yr Hi, I'm looking at UnRAID and want to be able to: Encrypt volumes but have UnRAID automatically boot from a passphrase on a USB drive (something like this). The plan is to attach the USB drive with a long cable and put it in a physically secured place so thieves can't easily walk away with it. Having to put a password in at boot time would be too inconvenient. I want to have an off site backup drive(s) in cold storage. I want to plug them in and have a backup run (onto an encrypted drive) and then take the drive off site to cold storage. The drive should have incremental historical backups (something like btrfs snapshots). I see UnRAID v6.4 has LUKS support which is great but I'm still not sure on the above details. As an alternative I'm thinking of setting up this and it seems it may have better support for containers. If someone could provide pros and cons that would be great. Grady
