can't boot SteamOS vm after v6.4.0 upgrade

Hi,

 

just recognized that my SteamOS vm isn't booting anymore since using unraid 6.4.0.

I'm 100% sure I didn't change its configuration.

 

I already tried reinstalling and when I do this I get into desktop mode.

But after another reboot it isn't booting again.

 

Someone got an idea and can help please?

Maybe the situation for your Guest VM the Bios is SEABIOS is same situation with mine, the problem one of my VM the bios is SEABIOS but when the new version i install the booting sequence have error, so i trying to figure out the issue, i change my Video Card but the same problem, so i made a new VM the bios is OVMF and letting boot the Guest VM in my Host, so what happen, the VM has OVMF is boot properly and no issue at all.. but the VM has SEABIOS has issue for me.. try to make a new VM and choose the OVMF Bios and you posted here your reply.. me im seeking the help for our developer and community source..

thanks for your advice. But unfortunatley I can't get it to work.

Just tried everything from SeaBIOS with i440fx and Q35 aswell as OVMF with i440fx and Q35.

Still no success.

 

It all worked before without any issue.

I can install SteamOS without any problem via VNC and when I assign my GPU afterwards it boots, updates steam and restarts itself again.

From there on it doesn't reach the desktop anymore.

 

Anyone got an idea please?
