I'm thinking of buying unraid for my home movie/music server. I'm concerned about power usage, so I just wanted to check on the status of S3 standby? I'm also thinking of getting a Promize SX8 card for my 8 disks, is that fully supported? Does anybody know if that card has a long bios bootup duration? I have a Raidcore now and it takes close to a minute to scan the hard drives, etc. I have a home automation system that turns on and off the server based on a schedule or on demand, but I want it to boot up quick.
