Stuck mounting an unsigned slot (SOLVED)

  1. I had a disk fault
  2. I replaced the bad disk with a new (larger disk)
  3. The system started the re-build of the disk 
  4.  After awhile It "appeared" that all my apps were locked up during the rebuild
  5. I pushed the hardware rest button (bad idea in retrospec)
  6. When the system came back up is was stuck on mounting the new disk
  7. I gracefully shut down, and unsigned the new disk and started a pre-clear on the new disk (using the unassigned plug-in)
  8. But the system will not start.  It appears it is still trying to mount the unassigned slot (see screenshot)

 

Help!, suggestions

 

Mount timed out after 30 mins...back to normal operatio
