It looks like the reason is hidden in the error 110. Googled this error message but can't seem to find its description. Can someone shed some light? Also, there is a bunch of references to 'Mouse'. Why? I don't have a mouse connected. The only link I can make is to the IMPI console... I was playing around there with virtual keyboard, and may have pressed virtual mouse button. Anyway, did not see this error message before playing with virtual keyboard.
August 25, 201015 yr Author Did some more mocking around in the IPMI console and the following appeared in the log: Aug 24 21:27:42 Tower2 kernel: usb 1-1.2: USB disconnect, address 4 Aug 24 21:27:42 Tower2 kernel: usb 1-1.2: new full speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 5 Aug 24 21:27:43 Tower2 kernel: usb 1-1.2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice Aug 24 21:27:43 Tower2 kernel: input: Winbond Electronics Corp Hermon USB hidmouse Device as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1a.0/usb1/1-1/1-1.2/1-1.2:1.0/input/input8 Aug 24 21:27:43 Tower2 kernel: generic-usb 0003:0557:2221.0005: input,hidraw0: USB HID v1.00 Mouse [Winbond Electronics Corp Hermon USB hidmouse Device] on usb-0000:00:1a.0-1.2/input0 Aug 24 21:27:43 Tower2 kernel: input: Winbond Electronics Corp Hermon USB hidmouse Device as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1a.0/usb1/1-1/1-1.2/1-1.2:1.1/input/input9 Aug 24 21:27:43 Tower2 kernel: generic-usb 0003:0557:2221.0006: input,hidraw1: USB HID v1.00 Keyboard [Winbond Electronics Corp Hermon USB hidmouse Device] on usb-0000:00:1a.0-1.2/input1 It seems that USB device 1-1.2 is not my flash drive after all, correct? No more error 110 this time. I guess I should just treat this as a fluke and ignore it.

Every time you switch, driver in unRAID will read device descriptor again and whenever you saw this error message most likely your keyboard/mouse is not detected by driver. Aha... I see. I did read somewhere that that this version of SM IPMI firmware, I believe v 2.0, is a bit buggy. The new version is not out yet officially, though some German website posted it recently. Once it is officially out I will re-flash firmware and hopefully this problem goes away. Though, I was playing with IPMI more last night and did not see this error re-occur. Which is good enough for now. Thanks for your feedback, GK20.
