Guidance to update or not

I'm new to Unraid 6, and I need your guidance please.

My current setup is:

EVGA 141-BL-E757-TR LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX X58 SLI LE Intel Motherboard 

Intel Core i7-920 Bloomfield Quad-Core 2.66 GHz LGA 1366 130W BX80601920 Processor

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 12GB 

Intel 320 Series 2.5" 120GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SSDSA2CW120G3K5

Antec 900 size - Case 

1-Istarusa bpu350sata with 4 x 4TB hdd

1-lsi megaraid 9240-8i - 2 ports of 4 HGTS Sata 4 TB

 

I use Unraid most for Plex and aditional backup of pictures, home videos and documents.

 

But I have this other pc, and I'm thinking if it is worth to upgrade Unraid to it?

 

GIGABYTE G1 Gaming GA-Z170MX-Gaming 5 

MSI Radeon R9 390 DirectX 12 8G

Intel Core i5-6600K 6M Skylake Quad-Core 3.5 GHz 

G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB

Fractal Design Node 804 - Case

Killer E2200 Gigabit Ethernet Controller - NIC

250GB EVO Samsung SSD

 

Maybe I can add 16GB more of memory, nvme ssd.

 

Please what do you guys think? If I do that I will keep only one pc for everything.

Does your current server fit your needs? Is it pushing the boundaries with processor usage when being heavily used? Both are fairly decent processors, obviously it would be a big gain, but if there's no obvious advantage my thoughts would be to leave it where it is for the time being! If you're noticing speed issues then perhaps try to work out where your bottlenecks are - but if the second PC is not needed for anything else it should be almost completely painless with Unraid to move over your hardware
