June 25, 200719 yr I am upgrading my server to the ASUS P5B-E motherboard.. I got everything setup and the bios set to boot on the flash. But it just blinks once then says to install a boot device to be clear this is the same flash that boots my older server. so I know it works. Any ideas ?? Thanks Rich

Odds are you are running in Legacy Mode and need Enhanced Mode (or whatever it is called by your MB manufacturer) Joe L.
June 26, 200719 yr Author Well I found the problem.. It was the 3 to 5 icy dock adapters where you can put 5 3.5's in 3 5inch slots.. I bought 3 of them 1 of them shorted out a drive as soon as I used it and I got errors on one of the other ones. I used the docks from my 1200 server and everything is running good now. I cant stress enough how crappy these things are DO NOT get them. Cost me a drive glad it was a junk 300 I had laying around and not a new 1tb I bought. June 27, 200719 yr I recently purchased a 3-to-2 PATA Icydock (haven't installed yet), and I was planning on buying a 4-to-3 SATA Icydock... Ultimately allowing me to install 7 drives in my 5-slot bay. Now I'm a bit worried. Seems like other people here are big fans of Icydock products... Has anyone else had problems with the multi-drive docks from Icydock?
June 29, 200719 yr Author http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16817332011 I did see these also. You may want to read the reviews on the icydock version. there not getting good marks at all. I bought 3 one fried a harddrive and other made unraid say there where errors all over the place so I would stay clear
