Drive Temps in web interface

Featured Replies

My unRaid has been working great, so I swapped everthing to a new case and installed 2 AMS 5 in 3 units. Did not change

anything else, Now 2 of my drives will not show temps. I have swapped cables, inputs, everything I could think of.

I even swapped slots on the AMS. Still no temps on the 2 drives, It's always the same 2 drives (parity and disk3, or where ever I

put disk3).

I no it's no big deal, but I just want everything to work right.

What can I do to get the temps back???

Are the two drives unique in some way?  Are they the same brand/model/size as each other or are they the same as units that are working?

It sounds like the SMART data is not working for those two drives when it goes through the AMS backplane.

Thanks Bill,

The drives are exactly the same. All my drives are Samsung 500gig, all new..

Also, I forgot to say, I have tried them in both of my AMS backplanes with same results.

You might try parsec's cat commands, found in here http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=754.0.

I'm not familar with those commands, or many of the Linux commands. When I enter that command I get "unknown command"

I notice it says ide in the command and I am using SATA.
