Unknown Process Hammering CPU

Featured Replies

sketch-1562304559545.thumb.png.701b7254744ad26897f90fbb1de3fc26.png I noticed my cpu being hit hard, so I ran top in the terminal and the process using 100% cpu (sometimes it will appear as high as 400%) is a process called

cbbWorker

I ran the kill -9 (PID) to kill it, my cpu usage returned to normal, but all my shares were no longer available until after a reboot

Can anyone explain to me what the cbbWorker is, what it's supposed to do, and how I can stop it from hammering my cpu?

Google simply does not have the answers...

TIA
