I want to ask.. Is it possible to backup a VM (vdisk+xml) live when the VM is running ? I saw the yt video from Space ... but I think it works only when the Vm is off right ?

So please help...

This is the only solution I know of that you can do with the vm running at the moment:

I know this is not what you are looking for but just thought I would also mention: that you can backup your vm settings while it is running with: vm_settings_backup (This script will copy all vm xml and ovmf nvram into a dated vmsettings folder to backup location set in script) within the User Scripts Plugin.
