Strange one, my docker image corrupted last Saturday and since then my VM refuses to work. I was on 6.8.0-rc7 as I have Ryzen 3700x and a Vega 56 and thought it wise to wait for 6.9 to continue with the latest kernel and all was working well. I then had the docker image get corrupted so after rebuilding this and rebooting my server a few times I couldn't get my VM to work. The graphics switches over from the Unraid OS to the VM, I get output of a few lines of colour on the scr

If you are really struggling with compiling your own kernel, then perhaps you can try just use the compiled files instead.
Backup your USB stick and make sure the backup is accessible and restorable in case you need to.
