[email protected]
I am new to UNRAID. I built a machine, ASUS x390 mb, Intel 9400 i5, six WD Blue 1 tb HDD, crucial ballistic 32gb 2666mhz ddr4, XFX RX-560D4SFG5 Radeon RX 560 1196MHz, 4gb GDDR5 GPU, and SanDisk Cruzer Fit CZ33 16GB USB 2.0 Low-Profile Flash Drive. I tried both creating a flash from the app via USB 2.0, and from cmd line commands (also ran the .bat as admin); run it from USB 2.0 on the mb, the results are the same. It brings up the bios. I tell it to save and exit, it reboots, and goes dark. It appears that it is not recognizing that it should boot to linux. Any ideas to get around or through this error. I only have a very small brain so any help would be appreciated. Quote Link to comment
pyrosuperman
Is your USB formatted as fat32? Does the makebootable.bat show an error? Use creator tool to make the drive. Copy everything from drive to desktop folder. Open powershell admin Type the command: "format /fs:fat32 x:" to format (replace X with the the real drive letter you’d like to format) no ""s Copy usb contents back to usb. Admin run the makebootable.bat Make sure BIOS set correctly. Now try booting it. Quote Link to comment
