Specialize Your System Ad

All right, I have to admit I'm extremely intrigued by this ad on the front page of the site, especially hard core gamer. I'm planning on upgrading my SFF Core i5-3450 system to a Ryzen 5 2600X, but I already have a beefy Windows system (i7-8700K w/ 32GB RAM and a RTX-2060) for gaming and video editing. If I can have Windows in a VM and have it essentially play like a standalone system, then I might consider doing this instead and save myself some money. Would there be much of a hit as far as processing? Could I have Windows start on power up for those in the family not as tech savvy? How does this work?
