Hi all,

Don't think this a major issue but running version 4.6 pro.

syslog:

Dec 20 01:09:20 Tower kernel: ACPI Error (dswload-0659): [PCI0] Namespace lookup failure, AE_NOT_FOUND (Minor Issues)
Dec 20 01:09:20 Tower kernel: ACPI Exception: AE_NOT_FOUND, During name lookup/catalog (20090903/psloop-230) (Drive related)
Dec 20 01:09:20 Tower kernel: ACPI Error (psparse-0537): Method parse/execution failed [\] (Node c14760c8), AE_NOT_FOUND (Minor Issues)

I believe after googling likely to be linked to the 2.6.32 kernel.

See http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=57450

Is this a major issue at all?

Thanks Josh

Probably no problem at all.  There are surprisingly a lot of ACPI parsing errors out there, and sometimes a firmware update fixes them, and more often a later kernel has better ACPI parsing for that BIOS, or a workaround specifically for it.  If you examine a number of syslogs from other users, you will see quite a number of parsing issues with ACPI, from incorrect checksums to table count errors to issues similar to what you found.
